Still Life by Anna Dubenska
Still life etching of fruit bowl dated 1961 by Anna Dubenska (1936-2014).
Anna was born in Poland in 1936 and came to the UK after the Second World War as a refugee with her father. Despite resistance from home she enrolled at Guildford School of Art and Crafts in the mid 1950s, walking miles to commute there and back. She subsequently trained at the Royal College of Art and then began teaching at Bristol School of Art.
